Early Blow Enough as Chicago Fire Edge Atlanta United 1–0

Chicago Fire defeated Atlanta United by a score of 1-0 in an exciting MLS matchup, with M. Haile-Selassie scoring the only goal of the game, which was crucial in their victory at Soldier Field.

Fire got off to a strong start and took the lead after 13 minutes when Haile-Selassie made room for himself in the attack zone and scored to make it 1-0 for the home team.

Atlanta took charge in terms of possession, but they could not create chances because the Chicago defense was really well organized and prevented the visitors from finding spaces in key areas.

During the second half, Atlanta tried to find an equalizer as they pressed the Chicago defense, but the latter did a fantastic job of containing their efforts.

Chicago successfully controlled the closing minutes of the match, maintaining their narrow advantage until the full-time whistle.

With this win, Chicago Fire earned three important points at home, whereas Atlanta failed to capitalize on their possession.
